About Warhounds Wiki

Last updated: 2026-08-13

Warhounds Wiki is an independent, fan-made guide to Warhounds, the single-player turn-based tactical strategy game developed by Everplay DMCC and published by Brightika, Inc. The site is not owned, operated, sponsored, or endorsed by the developer or publisher. Its purpose is to give players a clear path through combat, classes, veterans, missions, equipment, and mobile-base management while being honest about what can and cannot yet be verified.

The launch edition was assembled from current official release information, dated developer material, and carefully labeled research leads. It was not copied from the reference notes stored in this repository, and it does not present community repetition as proof. No account is required to read the guides.

Editorial Purpose

The editorial goal is practical accuracy. A guide should help a reader make a better decision and also show the boundary of the evidence behind that advice. We prefer a short, testable statement over an impressive but unsupported table. That means some launch pages intentionally explain planning frameworks instead of publishing exact damage values, skill trees, facility costs, mission scripts, or definitive tier lists.

Coverage is organized around common player tasks: starting a campaign, selecting a squad, reading lines of fire, managing cover and elevation, using overwatch, choosing equipment, recovering veterans, preparing contracts, and understanding public achievements. Articles are written for the released Windows PC version unless a different source status is stated.

Evidence Labels

Every launch guide carries a source-status boundary. The labels are designed to stop older previews, roadmap statements, and unverified observations from quietly becoming retail facts. A statement can move to a stronger category only when the evidence justifies the change.

  • Released 1.0: supported by the current Steam release, public retail metadata, or a reproducible observation in the released build.
  • Demo-era or official pre-release: published by the developer before version 1.0 and retained only with its date and limitations.
  • Roadmap: an official intention or target, not a promise that the feature shipped in the current build.
  • Community observation: a useful lead that requires independent reproduction before it is treated as established behavior.

Source and Fact-Checking Method

Current Steam data is the baseline for release date, platform, developer, publisher, languages, achievements, and the advertised retail feature set. The official game website supports setting and feature context, but its stale release messaging is not used to decide whether the game has launched. Dated developer news can explain design intent, such as the relationship between shot information and random outcomes, without being promoted into an unverified retail formula.

Before publication, claims are separated into atomic facts and connected to a source. Conflicts are resolved in favor of the newer and more direct official evidence. Community pages, videos, discussion, and internal research notes can suggest what to test, but they do not replace an official source or a reproducible in-game record.

Updates, Corrections, and Limitations

Articles display publication and revision dates. When a correction changes meaning, the affected statement, source boundary, and related pages should be updated together. Readers can submit a public issue with the page URL, the disputed text, the game version, and evidence that another reader can check. This creates an auditable correction path without asking for private account details.

At launch, the site does not claim exhaustive first-hand testing of every mechanic. Exact class abilities, veteran statistics, overwatch geometry, weapon values, facility costs, mission triggers, hidden achievement conditions, and difficulty modifiers remain marked for retail verification where appropriate. That restraint is a feature of the editorial method, not an invitation to fill gaps with guesses.

Official Channels and Ownership

Warhounds, its artwork, characters, logos, and related intellectual property belong to their respective rights holders. Limited official assets are used for identification, commentary, and informational guidance. Warhounds Wiki claims ownership only over its original site code and editorial text.

For purchases, game support, announcements, or questions only the developer or publisher can answer, use the official Steam page or game website. The correction tracker below is for this wiki’s content and is not an official support desk.
